This is a piece I commissioned from Wildstorm's Oliver Nome at Wondercon 2008. This is the fourth piece of artwork I've commissioned from him.
I discovered Oliver's work last year via the Wildstorm studio blog (which you can view here: [link]), and was happy to have the opportunity to commission him on the first day of SDCC 2007.
I was only planning on getting a single piece from him at the time, but the quality of Oliver's work absolutely blew me away -- and I wound up commissioning two more pieces from him before the convention was over.
As you can see here, he's got an amazingly lovely style, and puts an incredible amount of effort and intricate detail into his commission work.
Though most of Oliver's work at Wildstorm to date has been behind the scenes, he is about to make his comics debut in the pages of the DC/Wildstorm's series 'New Dynamix' -- which looks to be lots of fun, especially if you're an old-school Wildstorm fan like me.

i met him at the nycc and saw another lucky fan walk away with a zealot commission which was beautiful. the pics actually look way better in real life. i didnt grab a commission off him then but asked if he could do one for me when he comes to australia later this year.
